CLERK II - PARKS
Starting Hourly Rate:
$9.68

Nature of Work Provides general clerical support to supervisory and management staff in any number of facilities within the service area.  Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, revenue collection and deposits, daily revenue reconciliations, processing program registrations, maintaining program and accounting records, word processing, maintaining inventories and purchasing supplies, answering phones, disseminating and assisting patrons with customer service needs.  May exert up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or negligible amount of force constantly to move objects. 

Required Qualifications Minimum age requirement of 18 years. Good communication and customer service skills.  Demonstrate well-developed organizational and time management skills, concise verbal and written communication; coordinate multiple duties; and meet deadlines under pressure timely and accurately. CPR/AED and First Aid certification required by start of employment. Please note your certification must be from an organization that has been approved by the Bureau of Community and Health Systems, Child Care Licensing Division. Desirable Qualifications At least 1 year of proven administrative support with experience in all general office procedures and practices.

Ability to learn quickly and with minimal supervision.  Strong orientation to detail.  Good math skill and proficiency in the use of standard work processing and spreadsheet applications.  

Work Schedule Will typically work weekdays between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., but some evening and/or weekend work is possible.
