Nature of Work: To perform a wide range of routine and non-routine general office duties around Parks & Recreation while delivering exceptional customer service to both internal and external customers. This position will provide general office support including data entry, interact with the public, answering phones, filing, complete special projects as assigned, design and update forms and other duties as assigned. Utilize various software and web based programs for program registrations and facility bookings; routinely update and review content of programs for accuracy.


Required Qualifications: Must have a High School Diploma/GED. Must be able to demonstrate outstanding customer service and well-developed organization and time management skills; meet deadlines under pressure timely and accurately. Must be able to work under pressure in a busy environment. Must be available to work afternoons and weekends.


Preferred Qualifications: Associate's degree. At least 2 years prior experience in customer service and/or administrative experience.

Move and lift light objects less than 20 pounds such as mail, files and supplies. Operation office equipment requiring continuous or repetitive hand/arm movements. The ability to remain in a sitting position for extended periods of time.


Sedentary Work: Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to loft, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time.
