Nature of Work:  To provide coordination of and operational support for the programs and projects initiated from the Human Resources Services Benefits Team.  Assist with general administrative functions including new hire data entry and filing. Assist in collecting and tracking activity credit documentation for the Wellness Incentive Program. Research ideas to develop the Wellness Incentive Program by finding topics/presenters for education classes which accommodate odd shifts of new program participants.  Schedule appointments for the City's Flu Shot Clinic. Aid in tracking documentation for dependent audits. Update employee eligibility status on carrier websites. Assist in creating and sending cobra letters. Assist with open enrollment and RFP audits.

Required Qualifications: At least 1 year of Human Resources experience/education. Must be able to maintain confidentiality and accuracy; demonstrate outstanding customer service; coordinate multiple projects and meet critical deadlines in a timely and accurate manner.  Must be organized and schedule work effectively while working under limited supervision, demonstrate strong interpersonal and team skills and work well in a team environment.  Must have experience working with computers and software applications used in business settings (e.g., MS Office Suite, Excel, PowerPoint and Access). 

Work Schedule:  40 hours a week, for 10 months with a 2 month break in service at the end. Once the two-month break is completed, the person in this role can then return to work. This position is eligible for medical benefits only.
